So, just what is Development DNA?
It’s where two powerful strands of carefully designed development programmes are interwoven and applied with a focused and structured process.
Firstly the development programme runs on two main processes. Those two processes are a forward and reflective linking development programme that is designed around the theme of key proven priniciples. This works in a number of ways and on a number of levels at the same time creating the effect of accelerated learning.
The principles that are themed throughout the programme and integrated within the individual modules are the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Dr Stephen Covey.
The 7 Habits are key priniciples of effective living and working. These principles are integrated into each of the development programme modules and factored into the workplace tasks that need to actioned between modules.
Each module then starts with a detailed review of the learnings from the previous module and the actions that were worked on in order to create better working habits for improved performance and results.
The rest of the module then takes each participant through key strategies that will build on the skills previously learnt and links forward to the ‘between module’ work based tasks and the next module.
Once the Development Programme has been completed the one-to-one coaching sessions begin. These begin with the focus on the organisational objective. Each participant is taken though the Structured Coaching Framework thoroughly and generates three key goals that they believe they can successfully achieve.
Each of the remaining coaching sessions works with the coachee to eliminate every limiting factor that would or could stop each goal from being successfully realised. The limiting factors are all that stand between success and failure. No limiting factor means no failure. By the end of the Dynamic Coaching process all goals will have been achieved.
The Development DNA of the tailored, themed and linked development modules is then entwined with a highly structured and focused coaching programme of 12 one hour sessions – usually run every three weeks.
This seriously embeds the skills and strategies learnt during the Development Programme. And importantly it continues to feed the motivation and focus created during the development module stage.
With the Dynamic Coaching sessions focused on the organisational objective each participant is energised, but added to that the momentum is maintained and then heightened.
The Growth Dynamic then kicks in. You will see an exponential growth in participants maturity, confidence, skills and abilities. By the end of the programme all individual goals will have been achieved and as they are directly linked to the organisational goal your return on investment is quick and tangible.
